You seriously never heard of Plinkett before this? Wow. Anyway, yeah, there's a lot of little similarities. From the mispronunciation of words and disaffected tone, to awkward phrasing like "everyone's making a beeline for the sky," to the abrupt cut to other, more disturbing footage at the end. The main differences are the lack of intricate production values carefully designed to make it look even cheaper, the lack of an accent, and the fact that your character doesn't know what he's talking about. (Whereas Plinkett was generally well-versed in movies and terrible at all other mental attributes.)
Hahaha, I kinda tried to keep the production value at a certain level. This whole thing was made with a guy on YouTube named Beta64 in mind. That's where the stale voice came from. The rest I just kinda improvised and pulled out of nowhere.
I liked it. I especially remember having tio dodge God's tears.
Haha, I never actually understood what they were or like, if they were water balloons or what. So the only logical solution would be that they're God's tears. Thanks!
